Donald Trump Suddenly Stops Rally to Call for ‘Medic’ to Help Attendee

Former President Donald Trump suddenly stopped his rally in Wisconsin on Saturday to call for a “medic” to help an attendee.
Trump, the GOP presidential nominee, was about 30 minutes into his speech in Mosinee when some people in the crowd began to stand up and yell for a “medic.” Trump then stopped his speech and asked for medical attention for someone in the crowd, “Medic, please. Doctor, thank you.”
The incident lasted for about five minutes, with the former president telling the medical staff to “take your time.”
“We get the greatest service here. It’s amazing the way they are just right on it,” Trump said as a couple of people, presumably staff, ran through the crowd. One person was wearing an EMS vest.
Minutes later, people in the crowd gave a thumbs up and Trump said, “We’re getting a lot of good signs.”
“And just make some room for them so they can get out and hopefully come back before we’re finished because we can stay here all day as far as I’m concerned,” Trump told the crowd who then cheered.
Newsweek has reached out to Trump’s campaign via email for comment on Saturday afternoon.
This is not the first time an incident like this has happened at a Trump rally this year, which are typically outside.
In March, Trump’s rally in Greensboro, North Carolina, was halted for an apparent medical emergency.
In June, there was a medical event reported at Trump’s Las Vegas rally hours before the former president was expected to take the stage as temperatures were set to top 100 degrees.
Trump’s campaign listed several precautions they took to combat the desert heat during the rally, which included providing thousands of bottles of water for attendees, tents and misting fans around the park and at least one tent with air conditioning.
On August 21, Trump was at a rally in Asheboro, North Carolina, when he stopped his speech to ask the crowd for “a doctor, please” after an attendee appeared to need medical attention.
Trump spoke to a crowd of adoring supporters on Saturday, but that is not too surprising given that the rally was set in a conservative part of Wisconsin. However, overall, Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, is beating Trump in the Badger State, according to the polls.
Harris is currently leading Trump by 3 points (47.6 to 44.6 percent) in Wisconsin, according to poll aggregator FiveThirtyEight. Meanwhile, pollster Nate Silver’s presidential forecast, known as the Silver Bulletin, has Harris ahead of Trump by 2.4 points in Wisconsin (49 to 46.6 percent).
